The werewolf has even been recognized by the United States Post Office. This 32 cent "Wolf Man" stamp was unveiled at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida on October 31, 1996. However, the first day of issue for this stamp wasn't until October 30, 1997 in Universal City, California. The Wolf Man character was part of some Universal Studios horror films and portrayed by actor Lon Chaney Junior.
